What are FRIGO strawberry plants?

Frigo – this is a technology for producing strawberry plants. The digging of strawberry plants takes place at the end of autumn or the beginning of winter, right after the end of the growing season. Then they are sorted according to their grade, cleaned of old leaves, protected against grey mould and packed into boxes. Frigo strawberry plants are stored in special chambers at a temperature from -1.5°C to –3°C until shipment. Plants stored in such conditions, after removal from the cold room and planting in the soil, grow quickly and after approx. 4–6 weeks produce the first fruits. They are ideal for both beginners and advanced growers.
