What are FRIGO strawberry plants?

Frigo - this is a technology used for producing strawberry plants. Strawberry plants are dug up in late autumn or at the beginning of winter, just after the growing season has ended. They are then sorted by class, cleaned of old leaves, protected against grey mould and packed into boxes. Frigo plants are stored in special cold chambers at temperatures from -1.5°C to – 3°C until they are shipped. Plants stored under these conditions, after being removed from cold storage and planted in the soil, grow quickly and produce their first fruits after approx. 4-6 weeks. They are ideal for both beginners and experienced growers.
